This template identifies and recognizes profiles of people were or currently are associated with the U.S. state of Massachusetts or its colonial predecessors.
To add this sticker to a profile, place the string similar to the text in Code used: column of Examples table anywhere in the biography part of the profile. Usually you should put it next to the text describing a Sticker, but it should always be below the == Biography == heading and above the == Sources == heading.

To add this sticker to the profile for a deceased person, place the string {{Massachusetts Sticker}} in the profile text box in any location below the == Biography == heading.
If the person is living and is currently associated with Massachusetts, use the string {{Massachusetts Sticker|living=y}}
